Spring into Vintage

Spring is almost here, so it's the perfect time to shop for a new wardrobe. Or how about a new vintage wardrobe. I love thrift shopping and even have my own vintage clothing store on Etsy.com. These flower power dresses ($18 each) and cool retro shirt ($12) are just a few of the items I have for sale.

To see these items and more, check out Tracy's Pop & Shop Too.

My friend Meghann also has her own vintage store on Ebay. Check it out at Less Than 3 Vintage.

I've Got the Blues

It was a great week for thrift shopping. I made my usual rounds to the Salvation Army stores on 8th Street in the West Village, 8th Avenue in Chelsea and on Atlantic Avenue in downtown Brooklyn, and struck thrifty girl's gold. Here are several of my priceless finds (click for a larger view), all in cool shades of blue -- perfrect for spring.

Cute: Vintage dress in baby blue with white hearts and belt. Perfect for a city girl on the go.

Cool: Isaac Mizrahi shirt dress (not from his Target line, either) in a mod-style pattern.

Coy: Flirty, vintage blue and white polka dot dress.
